Our Schools

The Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District includes four schools: Ryder Elementary, Radez Elementary, Golding Middle School and Cobleskill-Richmondville High School.

Ryder Elementary

Located adjacent to Golding Middle School in the village of Cobleskill, Ryder Elementary is home to more than 300 students from pre-kindergarten through second grade. Students at Ryder begin exploration of reading and writing, mathematics, science and social studies while also being introduced to technology and the arts. Visit the Ryder homepage.

Radez Elementary

Joseph B. Radez Elementary School is home to more than 300 students in grades three through five. Built in 1933 in the village of Richmondville, Radez had served as a K-12, K-8, K-5 and PreK-5 school before assuming its current configuration in 2011. Students at Radez receive a well-rounded schooling in reading and writing, mathematics, science and social studies, along with an introduction to technology and an introduction to the arts. Golding Middle School

William H. Golding Middle School serves more than 300 students between grades six and eight. Built in 1933 on a hilltop in the village of Cobleskill, Golding offers students the opportunity to expand their foundational learning through coursework in world languages, career and technical education as well as robust art and musical programs. Seventh- and eighth-grade students also have the opportunity to participate in modified-level interscholastic athletic programs. Visit the Golding homepage.

C-R High School


Built in 1998, Cobleskill-Richmondville High School is home to more than 600 students from grades nine through 12. The high school offers a rich profile of academic coursework, including college credit and advance-placement courses, as well as a diverse menu of extracurricular activities, ranging from beekeeping to guitar playing. Cobleskill Richmondville’s 22 varsity athletic programs, nicknamed the “Bulldogs,” compete in the Colonial Council league of Section II. Visit the C-R High School hompage
