5th grade students strive for 1,000 lbs of plastic

5th grade students in the Radez 5th Grade Environmental Science Club are on a mission to collect 1,000 pounds of recyclable plastics in an effort to earn a NexTrex bench for Radez.
The club is collecting produce bags, plastic wrapping, plastic shipping envelopes, wood pellet bags, and any other recyclable plastics in their new collection bins.
So far, the club has collected 18 pounds of recycled plastic and dropped it off at the recycling center!
