Art students from Cobleskill-Richmondville High School are exhibiting work at the Bank of Richmondville in Cobleskill as part of the continuing Art Around Town program.
Art Around Town provides students with the opportunity to showcase their artworks in a public venue beyond the school setting. Exhibits are held in partnership with local businesses on a monthly basis.
This month’s exhibition features work from the Studio Art and the Advanced Painting classes. Studio Art is showing black & white Notan designs based on onomatopoeia, or words that represent sounds like Bang, Fizz or Pop. Advanced Painting is showing wet-in-wet watercolors of outer space which can be a harmonious cosmos or a discordant chaos.
Each student receives a Certificate of Exhibition signed by their building principal and respective art teacher. The show will be up through mid December. Come by and see all the great work.
