C-RHS freshman wins Oratorical Contest

C-RHS freshman Rebecca Redmond took first place at the Schoharie County American Legion Oratorical Contest, held Saturday, Dec. 9.
Contestants were required to give an eight to ten minute oration about a citizen's role in protecting the Constitution from memory with no props, notes or a podium.
Rebecca's speech, entitled E Pluribus Unum, discussed the responsibilities of citizenship. She will have the opportunity to compete at the regional competition in Lake George in February.
