CREF grant springs surprise snacks

Ryder Elementary students enjoyed a surprise snack on a recent afternoon, thanks to funding from a Cobleskill-Richmondville Education Foundation grant.
With a cart full of pretzels in tow, Diane Truesdell's first-grade class made its way through the school, knocking on classroom doors and delivering snacks to staff and students.
"Surprise Snack Day" is one of many projects being funded by C-REF's "Quality of Life/Student Choice Grants Program." The program allowed students, with a faculty advisor, to submit project proposals.
