Pre-K and kindergarten registration

Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District is looking for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten age children to register for the 2023-24 school year.
If your child will be three years old or four years old on or before Dec. 1, 2023 and you live in the C-R district, your child is eligible to apply for universal pre-kindergarten (UPK). UPK applications will be mailed to families by the end of April.
If your child will be five years old on or before Dec. 1, 2023 and you live in the C-R district, your child is eligible to register for kindergarten. Kindergarten registration packets will be mailed to families by mid-March, with registration and screening held from April 3rd to 6th, by appointment only.
Should you be in doubt that your child’s information is in our data base to automatically receive registration information in the mail, please call Ryder Elementary School at 518-234-2585, (Ext. 5000) as soon as possible to be sure your child is included in the registration process for the coming school year.
