Tryon, Philbrick elected as 2023-24 board officers

Bruce Tryon and Steve Philbrick were unanimously elected to serve as president and vice president, respectively, of the Cobleskill-Richmondville Board of Education at the regular board meeting held Monday, July 10, 2022.
Mr. Tryon has served as the C-R board president for the past 13 years and as a trustee for the past 16 years. Mr. Philbrick has served as vice president for nine of his 13 years on the board.
"I would like to extend my gratitude to the entire C-RCS board for their unanimous support in re-electing me as their board president," Mr. Tryon said.
"C-RCS is lucky to have a board that is as dedicated, caring and hardworking with a laser focus on what is best for the students and staff of the district."
In other board action, meeting dates were adopted for the 2023-24 school year. The board’s meeting schedule will be as follows:
