Freshman Ashten Haley and junior Kyber Henry represented C-R at the NYSPHSAA Individual Wrestling Championships on Feb. 23 and 24.
Ashten competed in the 124lbs Division II class and came out strong in his first round of the tournament, pinning his opponent in a major upset. He was 4-2 on the weekend, landing him a fifth place spot on the podium.
Kyber was 2-2 on the weekend in the 160lbs Division II class. Kyber had several close matches, including a loss in overtime and a loss by points of 3-2.
